In Remembrance of Mr. Richard Arsenault

The MASTC family, hunting community and outdoorsmen and women of Maine have lost a great man. Dick was one of the founders of the Maine Antler & Skull Trophy Club and it's because of his leadership and commitment that the club has been so successful in recognizing Maine's great hunters and honoring the amazing animals that have been harvested over the last 40 years. He will be sadly missed but his legacy will shine through the many organizations he was proudly involved in. Please keep his family in your thoughts.

Detail your services

Congratulations on your exceptional trophy that qualifies for the prestigious Maine Antler & Skull Trophy Club! Your trophy is one of very few that enter the Club each year and you should be extremely proud of your accomplishment!

Now that you have spent countless hours in the Maine woods, harvested a magnificent animal and taken the time to have it scored, the next step in the process is to attend the MASTC Annual Big Game Awards Banquet. The Banquet is a function of the Club where we honor hunters and their trophies by presenting Club certificates and patches.

If you haven’t attended a MASTC Banquet in the past, you may be wondering what to expect. The #40/#41 Annual Big Game Awards Banquet (for entries from 2017 and 2018) will be held at the Augusta Civic Center in Augusta, Maine on Saturday, April 27, 2019. The doors will open at 11:00 AM. If you do not have a good field photo of you with your trophy, please stop and have one taken by a MASTC Records Book representative before having a MASTC Scorer place your trophy on display.

Once you have your trophy displayed, locate your seat for dining then feel free to walk around and view the amazing collection of superior Maine trophies. You can purchase raffle tickets for some great prizes, buy older editions of MASTC Record Books and talk with other hunters swapping stories. A buffet dinner will be served at approximately 12:30 followed by the presentations of the trophy owners receiving their MASTC certificate and jacket patch. There will be top entry award plaque presentations for 2017 and 2018, a slide show with the entry photos, a guest speaker and continued viewing of a multitude of the largest trophies taken in Maine. The program will conclude around 5:00 PM. It is an impressive sight to see so many huge trophies displayed at one location!

Banquet Tickets: Anyone can attend the #40/#41 MASTC Big Game Awards Banquet but all tickets must be purchased before the date of the Banquet because we have to know the number of meals to have prepared. You may purchase tickets for this spectacular event by sending a check or money order (payable to MASTC) for $30.00 per ticket to: MASTC #40/#41 Banquet Tickets; PO Box 163, Pittsfield, ME 04967 or through our website. Each table will accommodate eight people but you can purchase as many tickets as you would like. (Each ticket will be individually labeled by table number and chair number.) (To guarantee that your group sits at the same table, please order all your tickets with a single order.) *There won’t be any ticket sales at the door.*

Please bring your trophy to the Awards Banquet!!! If you are having your trophy mounted, inform your taxidermist that the Banquet will be held on April 27, 2019 and encourage them to have your mount completed by then. Most taxidermists are very cooperative with this as long as you let them know ahead of time that you plan to attend the Banquet. (You might suggest to them that you will put their business card near the mount while displayed.) If you don’t have your trophy completed by the time of the Banquet, we encourage you to bring the antlers or skull for display anyway.

MASTC appreciates hunters acknowledging their taxidermist or guide but, due to contractual obligations with the Civic Center, we cannot allow advertising beyond placing business cards by your trophy. MASTC will provide printed display plaques that show the hunter’s name and town, the trophy’s category and score, as well as, space to write in the taxidermist’s and guide’s names.

Seating of ticket orders will start at the front of the room and proceed toward the back so please order your tickets early. This will be a great event so don’t put it off, send for your tickets today!
